The issue with en/man2/close.2.gz indeed seems to be a code page issue.
Using UTF-8 instead of ISO-8859-15 fixes the issue (strange for an
english man page that this would make a difference, but ok).
The other issue with man2/_Exit.2.gz remains. Note that this is a
symlink to _exit.2.gz. Viewing the latter doesn't give me any problems,
viewing _Exit.2.gz does still give me the realpath issue.
