There are in fact two ways to compile MC for Win32.

1) Compile it with Cygwin (http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/). Cygwin
emulates POSIX very closely, so MC will behave very much like a UNIX
program. This may limit it's usefulness, but it should be the easiest way
to get MC running.

I'll not be surprized it it compiles out of box, but if it doesn't try the
following options to configure:

--without-subshell --without-vfs --with-termcap

2) Resurrect the PC port in the "pc" directory. It can be more useful if
you manage to compile it, but it's certainly out of date and will require
changes.
