Hey that was my idea! I thought about re-enabling the voting on b.g.o,
but renaming votes to 'beer'.
If aren't familiar with the voting on Bugzilla: each user has a limited
number of votes. A user can vote one or more times for a bug. On
bugzilla.gnome.org voting is disabled, as it causes whining.
I hope that by renaming votes to beers the whining will be avoided.

Note: Above was a weird idea that I didn't discuss with anyone, but
after seeing your email I had to post this :)
