[Mailman Site List] can't remove myself from the garnome list

i can't seem to remove myself from the garnome list.  i tried to go to 

http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/garnome-list

to unsubscribe myself but i keep being told that i am going to be sent a
confirmation email and it does not arrive.

can you help?
