Not only that, it is the default!? What makes you think otherwise? Or, in
case, what system are you on that doesn't allow it?

Much of libsigC++ is pure template code, so just swapping a shared library in
the background as a remedy for a bug is not always an option. Otherwise, no
special considerations are necessary.
