This means you have access to a Sun machine? Cool!
When you comment out the lines in test_lambda.cc containing 'sigc::ref 
("\n")' this error will vanish.

You will get a different error when test_compatibility.cc is compiled.  
I didn't have the time to fix these things in cvs, yet (no cvs access  
from here, no time at home). It's just removing a 'const' keyword - see  
test tarball
