[sigc] libsigc-1.5.so.5

While the signals.cc example in the examples folder of libsigc++-1.2.5
compiles using the:
 
g++ signals.cc -o signals `pkg-config --cflags --libs sigc++-1.2`

when trying to execute it I get:

./signals: error while loading shared libraries: libsigc-1.2.so.5:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any ideas anyone?
