Any figures
on how libart compares to Quartz as shipped with 10.1 regarding
speed/quality in respect to the features supported by libart ?
Quartz should be significantly faster than libart, because it is
optimized for AltiVec/G4.
What has come of "full PDF 1.4 support for libart" ?
Raph was doing (did) all that work in Ghostscript 7, and then
planned to back it into libart - but I haven't seen that "back-porting"
happen yet. NOTE: this is just support of the new transparency models,
which are also still covered by Adobe patents (so that may have something
to do with it also).
