Reusing GTK+ reference documentation

gtkmm2 is now using this gtk_docs.xml file:
http://cvs.gnome.org/lxr/source/gtkmm-root/gtk-src/gtk_docs.xml
which is generated with gnome-python/pygtk/codegen/docextract_to_xml.py:
http://cvs.gnome.org/lxr/source/gnome-python/pygtk/codegen/docextract_to_xml.py
which uses the docextract.py script

However, GTK+ seems to have lots of function docs in tmpl/*.sgml files
instead of in the source itself, and docextract.py doesn't read these
files. Does anyone have any plans to make it do so? It's beyond my
python abilities.
