[guppi-list] compiling latest CVS

Hi, I've downloaded the CVS today (17/10/2000) and have found one problem that
I can't figure out what is for. When I make a autogen.sh and a configure
--enable-gnumeric (when I found that there was such a flag ;)

When I do the make, I found this problem:
/bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../..
-I/usr/local/include -I/usr/include/python1.5 -I/usr/include
-I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H
-I/usr/lib/gnome-libs/include -I/usr/include/gnome-xml
-DG_LOG_DOMAIN="libguppiuseful" -DGUPPI_PREFIX="/usr/local"
-DGUPPI_PLUGINS="/usr/local/lib/guppi/plug-ins/0.35.1"
-DGUPPI_PIXMAPS="/usr/local/share/pixmaps/guppi"
-DGUPPI_SCRIPTS="/usr/local/share/guppi/scripts"
-DGUPPI_GLADE_DIR="/usr/local/share/guppi/glade" -g -O2 -Wall -Wunused -c
guppi-rgb.c
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 4
make[3]: *** [guppi-rgb.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/games/guppicvs/guppi3/src/libguppiuseful'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/games/guppicvs/guppi3/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/games/guppicvs/guppi3'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I could try to obtain further detail, but the cc1 got fatal signal 4 doesn't
sound so good for me. Is it possible that this is related to the new libc6 and
gcc? The gcc version is 2.95.2, and the glibc is debian version libc6 2.1.95
(up to date woody, with helixcode packages)

Any hint?

Cesar
