I've just checked in changes to Guppi3 that cause it to (gasp)
actually do something.  Scatter plots can be created and manipulated
totally through the GUI.

I'm still going to clean things up a little bit and do a few simple
optimizations.  But the tarball I release tomorrow will not
differ materially from what is in CVS right now.
