hostel registration

Hi,

I'm thinking about staying in the youth hostel and the website says that
you should register to stay at the hostel when the you register for
guadec. The site also says that registration for the hostel will close May
1st.

So, should I just sign up for the hostel without waiting for guadec
registration?
