Lonely Planet's "Norway" book
(http://shop.lonelyplanet.com/product_detail.cfm?productID=2010) has a
few pages (about 9, IIRC) on Kristiansand with a small map and
recommendations for places to eat or visit, where to rent bikes, etc
marked on it. I've always found the guidebooks useful, although a
little out of date sometimes. This is USD 20, and may be worth it.
