Hi

My wife Lynn has compiled a nice collection of alternative ways of
getting to GUADEC in Kristiansand, either via budget airlines at Torp,
Sandefjord and bus to Kristiansand, or from Gardermoen, Oslo and train to
Kristiansand.

Price example:

Coming Sat. 26th of June, 0626 at Stansted, London. Arriving at 0920.

Leaving Wed. 30th of June 2205, arriving at Stansted 2305 

In total 67 GPB including taxes. Add taxi to Fokserød for 2 x 7 GBP
and bus to and from Krisiansand for 2 x 20 GPB you should be able to
get from Stansted to GUADEC and back for 121 GBP. The bus and train
even gives student discounts. (50% for all bus and some train
tickets.) You need to have your student ID card. In other words, it is
still possible to come to GUADEC in a cheap way from Europe!


Please register soon, as online registration is closing Monday 21st of
June.

(Note that it will still be possible to buy tickets for the conference
on-site during the conference. On site registration does not include
the accomodation option.)

How to get from Sandefjord (Torp) Airport TRF to Kristiansand KRS

and Frankfurt Hahn Airports to Sandefjord Torp:
