Hey Jonathan,
Your design mockup looks really great! Style, colors are very nice.
However, I think the 'texts' on the site could be better. The most
annoying thing: every item on the top bar is also somewhere else on the
site. That's confusing. And what's behind 'Development'? Tutorials?
Mailing lists? CVS access? API reference?
IMHO, the website should focus at new gtkmm developers. People like me!
They think:
- Why should I use gtkmm?
- Where are some tutorials?
- Where is API documentation?
- I have a problem, where do I go?
- Can I use it for a business project?
Some things I would like to see on a website like this:
"Tutorials", or "Getting started with gtkmm"
"API reference"
"Mailing list" and "FAQ"
"Report a bug"
"License"
Then again, I really like the looks of your mockup!
