change the widgets size

hei

I'm have problems with the size of the Gtk::Widget, I
don't know how to change it.

I have a Gtk::Frame wich contains a Gtk::Entry but
they are ocuppying all extension of my MainWindow.
I want to place then on low middle of the window.

and my Gtk::Entry must have 3 char spaces, how do I do it??
