Not exactly. I guess it is the last one, but I didn't understand the vers=
ioning
(when compiling I use "pkg-config --cflags libgnomecanvas-2.6", but the l=
ast
version I see on the web, and also the Ubuntu package, says 2.12.0). I ha=
ve some
code compiled in January this year that worked perfectly. Then, yesterday=
 I
noticed the bug when recompiling with the current version (2.6/2.12.0).

gtk_notebook_map() calls gtk_widget_map() on its children. So, maybe
Widget::map() should be public so that custom Containers can call it on t=
heir
child widgets.

However, I need to find out what map() implementations are meant to achie=
ve.
