Use of GObject* properties can cause this compiler error on SUN Forte CC =
(seen
with version 5.5):

"/opt/TWWfsw/libglibmm24/include/glibmm/value_custom.h", line 209: Error:
Overloading ambiguity between "static Glib::Value_Pointer<Gnome::Canvas::=
Group,
Gnome::Canvas::Group*>::value_type_(Glib::Object*)" and "static
Glib::Value_Pointer<Gnome::Canvas::Group,
Gnome::Canvas::Group*>::value_type_(void*)".

This patch fixes it, though it's a rather large hack, so I'd rather not a=
pply it
yet.

libgnomecanvasmm 2.11.0 also has new API (get_parent_group()) that provid=
es an
alternative, without needing the glibmm patch. libgnomecanvasmm 2.11.0 sh=
ould
work fine with other GNOME 2.8 or 2.10 libraries.
