Gtk::Main called twice

Hi everyone

I need to find out how I check whether Gtk:Main:init() has
been called already, and if it has, I need to obtain a
reference to the "Gtk::Main kit" variable so that I can
still call another "kit.run()". Is this possible?

I've looked at the reference material and made a few
attempts but I'm obviously doing something very wrong.
