gtkmm 2.4.11, 2.5.5 build failure (powerpc-apple-darwin7.8.0)

I have a build failure on the above platform with both 2.4.11 and 2.5.5
(same problem). It seems a number of required libraries are not
specified, e.g. -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lX11 -lfontconfig etc. Complete
output is attached.
Should I report this in bugzilla?
