Hey Olivier,

The only thing I can see possibly wrong with your code is that the
return value from GdkWindow::get_style()->get_black_gc() is
Glib::RefPtr<const Gdk::GC>, rather than Glib::RefPtr<Gdk::GC>. 
however, I don't know why this might cause a seg fault at run time.
