Status: Nobody is maintaining libbonobo*mm at the moment, and I doubt tha=

anybody needs to use it. However, patches would be welcome.

This patch should fix the warning. I haven't committed it yet because the=
test
case is currently segfaulting on close even without the patch. Investigat=

------- Comment #4 from Murray Cumming 2005-12-20 16:31 UTC -------
This is caused by this (correct) change in libgnomecanvasmm:
http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/libgnomecanvas/libgnomecanvas/gnome-canvas-b=
path.c?r1=3D1.8&r2=3D1.9
Fixed in the HEAD branch (for GNOME 2.13/14) with:
2005-12-20 Murray Cumming <murrayc murrayc com>
* libgnomecanvas/src/bpath.hg: The path property is
a PathDef, not a gpointer*. This theoretically breaks
API/ABI, but it is useless if we do not change it,
because the type is now checked in the C library.
* libgnomecanvas/src/libgnomecanvas_signals.defs:
Update with h2defs.py, but ignoring API-break-causing
writable/not-writable changes.
Bug #320502 by Pau Fernandez.
Thanks.

teststatusicon.c from gtk+/tests survives it just fine, when I run it in
testtray from libegg/libegg/tray, and kill the tray. The one thing that g=
oes
wrong is that the tray icon becomes a visible toplevel window in that cas=
e. It
should remain hidden.=20
Regarding this bug, you need to figure out in what way the panel systray
behaves differently from testtray
