Simple libgnomecanvasmm example

Hello.

I am new to libgnomecanvas and would like to
see a simple example program that just draws
two axis with labels "x" and "y", and some points,
using libgnomecanvasmm.

Is there one? If not, maybe someone kind
enough could provide one for me.
