event on differents widget

Hello

I begin with gtkmm since one month and develop an application for my
studies.

I'm trying to create events (the same as "on_enter ()" or "on_leave()" for
buttons ) for widgets like toolbutton or treeview to upgrade a statusbar.
I'm trying such things like eventbox and others in tutorial or in the web,
but when compiling (sometimes :-) ), nothing append ...

Is it possible to create an enter/leave event for a toolbutton ? (I think
it is)
