[gtkmm] gtkmm-2.4 and MSVC?

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to either

a) Build gtkmm-2.4 under MSVC, or

b) Link an MSVC app with MinGW gtkmm-2.4?  Looking at 
http://www.mingw.org/mingwfaq.shtml#faq-msvcdll it seems to be doable, 
but the MinGW gtkmm packages don't seem to include .lib or .def files.
