I guess that menu items have some way to do this, because they do show the
human-readable keyboard combination - could you investigate this, please?

No mention of the new Gtk::FileChooser is included in the book.  I noticed
example code does exist in the examples/book/dialogs directory.
I will work on a patch for this, and try to submit by the end of this weekend.
