[gtkmm] WIN32 File Selection and main loop

Hi,

I am using the WIN32 file selection dialog. I noticed that when the
dialog is displayed that my gtk window is not receiving any drawing
updates (i.e. expose). Is there anything I can do? Do I need to have a
separate thread?
