In a Gtk::TextBuffer there are a number of methods to convert line number to iterator: iterator get_iter_at_line_offset (int line_number, int char_offset) iterator get_iter_at_line_index (int line_number, int byte_index) iterator get_iter_at_offset (int char_offset) iterator get_iter_at_line (int line_number) Is there any way to go the other direction?
