[gtkmm] making your own signals and buttons

To all,

This is the first time I've had to create my own signal in Gtkmm. I've also
got to make a button that inherits from button and adds one property. Can
anyone tell me where there is a good example of doing this? Or if not, send
me a snippet of code?  Thanks!
