[gtkmm] GTKmm on win32

Hi folks!

I wanted to ask you what are your plans on porting GTKmm
and other related libraries to various platforms. I choose
GTKmm as the GUI library for my application and thus I could
now (even if I havent really tried it out) compile a win32
version of it. Now I noticed that GNOME libraries contain a 
lot of useful functions and newest GTKmm includes also
glibmm and gnomemm wrappers. Are these parts going to be part 
of win32 release too?
One more question. Is there a simple way to find the mime type
of a file? I suspect this is in the GNOME VFS API. This might
not be ported to other latforms or not ?
