[gtkmm] TreeView: Any chance to get the parent when child is selected?

Hi!

I am facing the following problem:
child is selected but I also need
the parentsī value. Is there any way...?

btw:
parent has not been selected before,
just expanded with the little triangle
to see the children...

My list view:

o parent ---+
            |
            + child
            + child
            + child  << this is selected
