[gtkmm] widget default size

Hi,

I have built a multi-widet form. Some
of the widgets appear with a default
size that just doesn´t fit (too big/small).

From documentation I´ve learnt that
I can set a widgets´ size but then it
won´t expand or shrink any more if the
user changes size.

The only solution I see is in Gtk::Window.
I can set a default size and they are still
variable in size.

The question is: Can a window be packed into
a V/HBox?
