Make and install gnome-vfsmm. Check where include files installed.
Some of them goes under -2.6 directory others still into -2.0

Did this error occured during gconfmm configuring?  If so, it is the same
problem that i have encountered.  I fixed it by adding bindings/gtkmm in LIBDEPS
in garnome-2.5.92/bindings/gconfmm/Makefile.  First i thought too that it must
been gtkmm missing.  i donwload it and put it in bindings/gtkmm and it still
didn't work.  So i realize that gtkmm was there but the script wasn't aware of
that.  why, i found out that gconfmm depends on gtkmm but that info was not in
the Makefile!!

I am using a mandrake 9.2. gcc 3.3.1
I hade installed garnome 0.27.1 few weeks ago.
Based on your advise (see mailing list on 12/03/2004), this week end, I made a 
global 'jhbuild build' for gnome26. ==> yes, glibmm is also from cvs.

I assume that you did not mean to close this bug as fixed before I had applied a
patch.

The first patch conflicts with current cvs. Also, you have commented out some
methods, without explanation. Please submit one updated cvs patch.
