No, you need the GTK+ 2 versions of gtkextra and gtkextramm to do this.
Until the gtkextra maintainer releases a gtkextra 2 tarball, that's all in
cvs.

Mostly, because they aren't good enough yet. And they have never stabilised
on an API.
