[gtkmm] pixmap to pixbuf conversion

hi

thanks for the help on segmentation fault..

i can load an image using pixbuf..on the drawing area..
how can i get image drawn in the drawing area in to pixbuf..

If i use a pixmap then i can get the drawn image inthe 
pixmap..buthow do i convert to a pixbuf..so that i can save it..

gtkmm2 provides pixbuf..with save function to save to an image 
file..

Is there any other way to do it..?
