Re: [gtkmm] Time & calling back a function

Thank you Vladislav but I can't see how this function will help

Glib::Timer Class Reference : Portable stop watch interface.

this don't support call back

anyway see the function http://www.gtk.org/tutorial/ch-timeouts.html , can I find someting like it in Gtkmm ?

BTW: why the mailist when we click reply , put only the message sender without the mailist address !!

Hi

I am creating a program that will do some jobs at 05:00,12:00,03:00,07:00 and 08:00 every day

so I am as asking, do I have to check every minute if the time is 05:00,12:00,03:00,07:00 or 08:00 or there is any gtkmm function that can call back my function when the clock comes to 05:00,12:00,03:00,07:00 and 08:00 ?

and if I have to check the time every minute , is there any function that can call back my function every minute ?

Have you looked at Glib::Timer class reference?
Also, you can use UNIX setitimer() (see the manpage)

hope this helps,
Vlad
