[gtkmm] gtklist ? gtkitem ?

I got lost in the gtkmm2 classes map... looking for the Gtk::List / 
Gtk::ListItem widgets.
Then I read an old message in the ml archives that said these widgets were 
deprecated, so please which one should i use now ? I wasn't able to find a 
good solution. The sample code I found did not compile with gtkmm2.
