This means nothing without test code to prove it. I belive that widgets and
their containers respond to premature destruction, and that it's a GTK+ bug if
they don't.

So far everything seems to work, and I don't believe that the GTKMM_LIFECYCLE
code to make it work is very complicated. It's simpler and more documented
than it was in gtkmm 1.2, and it didn't even work properly in gtkmm 1.2.
