Re: [[gtkmm] RPM .spec files]



I believe that 3rd-party RPMs cause almost nothing but trouble due to a lack
of discipline about how people set up their systems. I also believe that there
should be only 1 definitive RPM of each package on any given distro - and my
experience is that no 3rd party is willing to maintain an RPM for all future
versions.

I think it's best to lobby distros, such as RedHat, to produce RPMs
officially.
