hi
thanks for all the help
i have installed gtkmm-2.0.1.sucecssfully.. I am using Anjuta
0.1.9 as my IDE. I am also using glademm-0.6.4
i created a gtkmmC++ project from the project wizard and it could
not generate all the necessary files..it gave an error
--------------------------------------------------------------------
checking for gtkmm-config... /usr/bin/gtkmm-config
checking for GTK-- - version >= 1.2.5... no
*** Could not run GTK-- test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file
config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK-- was
incorrectly installed
*** or that you have moved GTK-- since it was installed. In the
latter case, you
*** may want to edit the gtkmm-config script:
/usr/bin/gtkmm-config
--------------------------------------------------------------------
i have removed all the libgtkmm.la and libgtkmm.so files from
usr/lib and usr/local/lib..
i know that i cannot use gtkmm-config to compile my programs so i
need to use pkg-config..but how can i set this flag in Anjuta..
another thing which i wnat to know is will glademm 0.6.4 conflict
with the gtkmm-2.0.1
this is my /etc/ld.so.conf

thank you
bye
