[gtkmm] hi..loading images..

hi !!!
I am newcomer to the gtkmm developer community..i am working on a 
project which involves loading and saving images in various 
format

i am trying to load jpeg images in gtkmm window..
i have tried to use the Pixmap widget..but i dont how to convert 
jpeg tp xpm..
tell how can i load them in drawing area widget..also in Pixmap
