i would think so. i use raw DrawingAreas all the time and have never
noticed any border around them. best of all - its simple for you to
check this.
Well, it isn't really that simple to check something like this in the
project I'm working on (I'm too lazy to write a small test program ;) but
I've tried with a lot of hacks to work around the current structure of how
things are done atm and the frame was indeed the culprit.
That means I'll have to re-think/design a large part of this program, no
much fun to do.. :/
(used to be a MFC program originally)
Anyway, I do wonder though who (and why) decided to put a border around
those widgets that are add()ed on frames.....
Doesn't seem very logical to me :?
