[GtkGLExt] need help for a correct start

Hi i'm new gtkglext and i have some question.
What is the best way for configure & make to register that your
extension is installed?

Now i have in configure.ac

GTKGL_CFLAGS="-I/usr/include/gtkglext-1.0/
-I/usr/local/include/gtkglext-1.0/ -I/usr/lib/gtkglext-1.0/include/
-I/usr/local/lib/gtkglext-1.0/include/"

AC_CHECK_LIB(gtkglext-x11-1.0, gtk_gl_init,
GTKGL_LIBS="-lgdkglext-x11-1.0",exit,)

AC_SUBST(GTKGL_LIBS)
AC_SUBST(GTKGL_CFLAGS)

Is this enough??

My little program compile and link

But when i add

gtk_gl_init (&argc, &argv);

i get this error:

So what's wrong?
