Threading in GTK

Hi Friends,
I have created my GTK application , and implemented threading with Pthread.It is working fine in Host (Pentium 3). Screen is not displayed in the Target(ARM9).
Is GTK is fully supporting threading?
I am using GTK version 2.2.4.
