Without g_thread_init() in Gtk+2.0?

Hello,
I can not solve thread asynch problems without g_thread_init() which is
using in Gtk+ v.1.2.
I am moving version 1.2 to version 2.x.x and it is going fine except
g_thread_init().
any way to solve this?
