hi,
I'm not totally sure about it, but it seems there is a incompability
between the GTK 2.4.x and glib 2.6.x version. So, some methods can not
be found. Try building it (gtk) with the recommended versions of its
dependencies.
take a look at
<http://www.gtk.org/download/> ,
<ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v2.4/> and
<ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v2.4/dependencies/>
or build the updated 2.6.x series !!
I hope this can help you anyhow !!
regards
