Hi All,

The Gnome documentation says that GtkPreview is deprecated and one
should not use this in new code.

What should one use if one wants exactly the above thing?

However I want to do the following:
1. Implement a GtkDialog which displays a grayscale or a RGB image.
2. Allows me to choose a certain portion of the image or complete
image as determined by a movable, modifiable rectangle

Is there any standard way to do so, especially 2?
