Pango, solaris 9, & XTrapezoid

hi,

i am failing to compile pango 1.8.0 on a solaris 9 box due to the
following compile problem:

  in pangoxft-render.h:91: parse error before 'XTrapezoid'

i searched around and found that other people have had this issue as well
(very recently), but could find no indication of a solution or a way to
get around this.

does anyone have an idea what to do to deal with this problem?
