Thanks for your help. I got GLib installed but now I've hit another
problem... when I try to run ./configure in the Pango 1.8.0 directory
I get the following errors:
*** Could not run GLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GLIB is incorrectly installed.
configure: error:
*** Glib 2.5.7 or better is required. The latest version of
*** Glib is always available from ftp://ftp.gtk.org/.
But I've installed GLib 2.6.5 without any problems.
I only have GTK+ 2.6.7 as far as I know and I was meant to type GTK+
2.6.8 in my last email :)
