No, my symlink isn't broken. "ll /usr/bin/gmake" shows it points to the correct place.
Strangely, I didn't find "hash" command. "find / -name hash" didn't give me any result.
But the problem is solved by restarting X Window. Now I can usr "gmake" and "gtk-demo" anywhere. :)
Still, I am confused at the reason. Isn't it an advantage of linux/FreeBSD/Unix over Windows that it doesn't need reset after installing any software to make it effective?
